To explore career decision-making processes of engineering students during transitions from undergraduate education to employment or graduate study, 1,030 students completed three questionnaires focused on decisions made at the anticipation, exploration, and implementation stages of decision making. Overall, career directions did not change substantially over time; most students chose nonmilitary employment. (HLM)
