The data clearly show that business graduates receive job offers earlier than arts and science graduates and experience the lowest incidence of unemployment. However, the differences among unemployment rates found five months after graduation may not be large enough to make the business major significantly preferable. (Author)

Company representatives (N=16) held 208 interviews during a one-day "Career Interview Program for Liberal Arts" and completed questionnaires about the students and the program. Recruiters completed questionnaires that measured their perceptions of the role of the business minor in that student's candidacy.
