A field program entitled Kentucky January was organized for University of Kentucky allied health care students so they could see a real world demonstration of teaching models in action. This interdisciplinary approach involved teaching strategies other than traditional classroom study. (MW)

A survey of allied health professionals responsible for adult handicapped clients showed that a majority did not participate in sexual rehabilitation tasks. Most held favorable attitudes toward the tasks, but felt their professional preparation was inadequate. (SK)

A study examined the admission criteria and measures of success for 40 nontraditional respiratory care students. The findings revealed a prediction model for 3 indicators of success: program average, clinical performance rating, and credentialing exam scores. (Author)
