In an effort to improve performance of high school students on intelligence tests, a large-scale study involving 296 Yugoslavian students was carried out by Radivoy Kvashchev. Results indicate that it is possible to achieve small improvement and that improvement remains a year after the end of training. (Author/LMO)

It has been suggested that IQ's of gifted children resemble parents less than do people in general. This finding may have been an artifact of the particular estimator of the regression coefficient used. The nature of differences in performance on the third revision of the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale (Form L-M) was assessed for two independent samples of Black (n=86) and White (n=86) preschoolers matched for parental education, age, and sex.
