Analyzes changes in the affective perceptions of preservice teachers toward selected categories of exceptional children after a course on mainstreaming. The education students' perceptions took a negative shift as a result of exposure to mainstreaming information. Future programs should classify attitude development as a specific goal. (Author/JAC)
