The purposes of this study were to examine the attitudes toward women of various groups of college students and to study their attitudes in relationship to levels of exhibited authoritarianism. A greater percentage of authoritarian subjects perceived women in a negative way. (Author)

A sample of 108 high- and 109 low-disclosing college females rated risk individuals should take in revealing personal information to six helpers and perceptions of each helper's characteristics. High-disclosure females thought clients should take greater risks with more trained helpers. (Author)

Assesses how similar same-sex friends are in their level of moral development. Results indicate significant relationships only for male-female dyads. The functions of different dyadic friendships are discussed, including Piaget's and Kohlberg's ideas that peers have a role in promoting cognitive growth. (Author/BEF)
