The farewell address of Raja Roy Singh to the staff of the Regional Office for Education in Asia and the Pacific follows. "A Distance Learning Development Programme in Indonesia" (Rex Kinder) outlines the development of a project that had the objective of setting up a system of distance education for bank staff. "Defining Nonformal Education" (Alan Davies) is a summary of a small group workshop discussion that attempted a definition of the term "nonformal education." (YLB)
