A professional learning plan is the navigation system for the comprehensive professional learning system. Professional learning plans establish short- and long-term guidance for professional learning and its implementation. The following Tools are included in this report: (1) Websites to Sample Professional Learning Plans; (2) Analyze Student Learning Needs; (3) Identify Characteristics of State, School System, School, Department, and Educators; (4) Develop Improvement Goals and Student Outcomes; (5) Identify Educator Needs and Goals; (6) Study Research and Evidence for Guidance About Professional Learning; (7) Plan Professional Learning Implementation and Evaluation; and (8) Implement, Evaluate, and Sustain Professional Learning.
