Manual for Administering the Analysis of Developmental Learning Skills. Revised 1977.
South Bend Community School Corp., IN.
The Analysis of Developmental Learning Skills (ADLS) is a school readiness test, designed to diagnose lags in developmental skills in four and five year old children. The nine subtests are: motor coordination, visual performance, visual perception, visual memory, auditory perception, auditory memory, language development, conceptual development, and social development (drawing of self). Raw scores are converted to standard scores to facilitate diagramming on the developmental profile. The ADLS is the product of eight years of continuous research which annually involved 600 Project Head Start and 2,000 kindergarten children. (This manual contains the test items, and directions for administering, scoring, and interpreting). (Author/CP)
