The study investigated the career attitudes of three groups of learning disabled (LD) adolescents: (1) 30 LD students enrolled in secondary regular classes, (2) 30 LD students enrolled in secondary vocational training classes, and (3) 30 LD students enrolled in the regular secondary classes and receiving additional services through Learning Resource Centers. Ss were given the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised and the Career Maturity Inventory, a measure of attitude maturity for effective decision making. Results suggested that the LD students in regular classes were superior to the other groups studied in career attitudes. An additional finding was that significant differences in career attitudes existed in the three LD groups. (Author/DB)
