Eating disorders are thought to occur less among African-American women than among women of other ethnic groups. A pica box (containing items safe to chew) was used as an intervention with a 10-year-old autistic girl with pica behaviors in a special education setting. Brink, Susan M.; And Others – Canadian Journal of Counselling, 1995
Compares the dream content of 12 eating-disordered and 11 non-eating-disordered women.
