The difficulty of evaluating published articles in journals outside a discipline by promotion review committees is discussed. A study is described that identified journals in the pharmacy disciplines and had senior faculty members in all the pharmacy disciplines rank order the journals. (Author/MLW)

The dominate issue in pharmacy education has been which degree, BS or PharmD, should be entry-level degree for pharmacy. Data show that the number of BS degrees conferred has been decreasing while the number of PharmD degrees has been increasing. (Author/MLW)
