Evaluates definitions of sexual harassment adopted by undergraduate institutions for use in grievance procedures and policy statements and analyzes their purpose, range, and effect. Explores ways of improving these definitions and suggests that a definition must be flexible and should reflect the victim's perspective. (Author/MJL)
