This report provides fiscal year (FY) 1991 operating budget and student information from Idaho's one public four-year college and three universities (Boise State University, Idaho State University, University of Idaho, and Lewis-Clark State College), as well as selected data on two community colleges (North Idaho College and College of Southern Idaho). The material is organized in four sections: Finances; Students; Faculty/Staff; and Intercollegiate Athletics. The financial portion shows general operating budgets for each school by activity and expenditure classification. Activity areas include research, academic instruction, public service, student services, institutional support, and academic support. This section also reports on FY 1992 appropriations, renewal and replacement projects funded in FY 1991, and the direct and full costs associated with such broad areas as instruction and research, as well as for individual majors at each institution. The student section of the report displays academic and vocational student full-time enrollment from fall 1986 through fall 1990, as well as academic and vocational headcount enrollment at the postsecondary education institutions. Additionally, this section contains student fee revenue statistics from FY 1989 and FY 1990. A salary equity study of average faculty salaries at Idaho's four-year public colleges and universities compared with peer institutions in the West is the subject of the third section. Finally, revenue sources and expenditures are provided for intercollegiate athletics for FY 1990 and estimated revenues and expenditures for FY 1991. (GLR)
