This is the 1979 annual report of the American Chemical Society's Committee on Professional Training. Included are data on total numbers of bachelor's, master's, and PhD degrees awarded in 1978-79 whose programs are ACS approved. An increase is reported in the number of bachelor's degrees in chemical engineering. (SA)
