Boykin, Arsene – Clearing House, 1981
In two Chicago high schools, students taking the traditional 40-week course in United States history were compared to students taking 4 10-week minicourses. No significant differences were found in learning or student attitudes. (SJL)

Reports one high school's experiment in diversifying the English curriculum through the use of minicourses. The primary purpose of this study was to determine if this change in curricular structure made a difference in student achievement.
