A Global Perspective: What Professional Learning Looks Like around the World
Easton, Lois Brown
Journal of Staff Development, v34 n3 p10-13, 14, 16, 18, 20 Jun 2013
This article is drawn from a longer study Lois Brown Easton conducted for Learning Forward as the organization seeks to understand and influence the global professional learning landscape. A look at the data shows that, despite everything known about the need for high-quality professional learning, a significant number of teachers around the world aren't getting what they need or want. Data snapshots offer a glimpse into the education context and professional learning practices in seven countries.
