Three Short Courses in Home Making. Bulletin, 1917, No. 23
Lyford, Carrie Alberta
Bureau of Education, Department of the Interior
The three brief courses in home making outlined in this bulletin have been especially prepared for use in the elementary rural schools. They are in no sense a complete outline of the subjects with which they deal; rather, they indicate a few of the important phases of food study, sewing, and care of the home with which the girl in the elementary school should become familiar. Twenty lessons in each of the 3 topics are presented. The lessons are purposefully made simple. (Contains 21 figures; individual sections contain footnotes and suggested reading material.)
