This document is the second edition of the Annotated List of Laboratory Experiments in Chemistry first published in 1980. All entries in the Journal of Chemical Education describing laboratory experiments in chemistry or laboratory descriptions suitable for student experiments or projects, for the years 1957-1984 inclusive, have been listed and annotated. The list has been categorized into the seven principal fields of chemistry. These are: (1) analytical chemistry; (2) biochemistry; (3) inorganic chemistry; (4) organic chemistry; (5) physical chemistry; (6) polymer chemistry; and (7) radiochemistry. The level of the individual experiments are indicated, ranging from those that require no background in chemistry to those appropriate for advanced/specialized graduate courses. Additional keywords are used, as described in the accompanying glossary, to facilitate quick visual scanning of the list. (TW)
