Peter Felten is executive director of the Center for Engaged Learning and assistant provost for teaching and learning at Elon University, where he also serves as a professor of history. Charles C. Schroeder is the past president of ACPA--College Student Educators International and founding coexecutive editor of "About Campus." Felten and Schroeder are the authors (with John N. Gardner, Leo Lambert, and Betsy O. Barefoot) of the 2016 book, "The Undergraduate Experience: Focusing Institutions on What Matters Most."
