There is a growing unacknowledged reality to the oneness of America. Latin America is increasingly sharing not only the blessings of U.S.-style modernization, but its demons as well. Also, many problems that have long plagued Latin America, e.g., indebtedness and militarism, are becoming more apparent in the United States. (RM)

Presents an historical perspective on the current hostilities over the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands. The validity of British and Argentinian claims to the islands is evaluated. The social and political problems which motivated the Argentinian government to reclaim the islands by force are considered. (AM)

Unemployment in the United States can only be made worse by continued high levels of legal immigration. Especially serious is the threat from Latin America. We must help developing countries halt their population growth and impose a ceiling of 100,000 a year for total immigration to the United States. (RM)
