Reviews recent evidence regarding increases in sexual activity and decreases in age of first sexual experience among Nigerian youth. Presents nine goals of sex education instruction and identifies problems in implementing sex education in the Nigerian schools. (JDH)

The condition of the disabled in developing nations, particularly Nigeria, is considered. Discussed are prevention of disability by control of infectious diseases, effects of myth and superstition on attitudes toward the disabled, the lack of medical facilities, and the rights of the disabled to an education and building access.
