A study of 50 Wisconsin public school districts that engage in formal collective bargaining revealed that the pupil-teacher ratio tends to increase slightly as bargaining becomes more sophisticated. Other factors, however, had more positive relationships with pupil-teacher relationship than bargaining. (Author/WD)
