This document presents data on the residents of the two correctional institutions for juvenile offenders operated by Wisconsin's Division of Corrections: Ethan Allen School for boys which housed 287 boys on June 30, 1986 and the co-educational Lincoln Hills School which housed 203 boys and 36 girls on that date. Three pages of descriptive text present admission criteria and information on the populations served by the institutions. Eleven data tables are included in the report which provide 1986 statistics on residents in juvenile institutions by institution and by sex. Data are provided on: (1) types of admission; (2) race and ethnicity; (3) region and county of commitment; (4) major delinquent act just prior to admission; (5) major problem areas; (6) current age; (7) current disabilities; (8) highest grade completed; (9) tested grade level; (10) intelligence estimate; and (11) time in institution. Tables illustrating selected characteristics of juvenile males in residence on June 30, 1982-1986 and selected characteristics of juvenile females in residence on June 30, 1982-1986 are appended. (NB)
