A 1980 report on gender bias in technical education in Montana found that females constituted fewer than 10% of enrollment in all technical courses except graphic arts (51%). The investigator predicted that the gap would end. However, 15 years later, there is still a huge disparity between males and females in technology education. (Author/JOW)
