The development and delivery of an Earth-science-focused short course designed to prepare Hong Kong students for university level study is described. Descirbes a secondary science program designed to increase enrollment by offering semester courses. Thirty courses, in the biological and physical sciences, are offered for one semester and one-half credit. Earth science enrollment has increased significantly in the upper grade classes. Student evaluations are mostly favorable. (MA)
