Describes a strategy for teaching social theory through video which was used in a pilot study of undergraduate sociology majors at Duquesne University (Iowa). Comparisons of four videodisc systems are given, and then compared with videotapes. Education projects using videodiscs are noted, and problems of using videodiscs in education are noted.
