Compares an individualized audiotutorial (IAT) approach to teaching biology to ninth-grade students with the more commonly employed frontal classroom-laboratory (FCL) method. Indicates the IAT method was effective in increasing achievement and motivation in Israeli kibbutzim junior high school science students. (MP)
