This bulletin presents tables in summarized form of the statistics of public and of private kindergartens in the various States. The detailed statistics, which are summarized in Tables 3 and 4 are given for individual cities and towns in the report on statistics of city school systems for 1919-20. This summarized report is prepared for the use of those who are interested in the statistics of kindergarten for the country as a whole and for the individual States.
