This theme issue of the "Social Studies Journal" focuses on the worldwide conflict known in the United States as the French and Indian War (1754-1763). (Lisa Smitreski Draper); (3) "Bringing History to Life through Art and Drama" (Robert Millward); (4) "Songs of the French and Indian War" (Mariana Whitmer); (5) "Queen Aliquippa and the Start of the French and Indian War" (William Switala); (6) "Reading List for Students" (Kathleen Werner, Comp.); (7) "Jumonville, Fort Necessity" (Jane Clark); and (8) "Fort Ligonier" (Martin West).
