Chapter 2, "Financing Child Care Supply," addresses center-based child care, supports for home-based child care, supports for the child care industry, and tax credits and other alternative financing strategies. Chapter 3, "Resources to Support Families," covers financing low-income child care and resources for families regardless of income. Chapter 4, "Financing Quality Care," examines the importance and key elements of quality, regulations, training and education of child care providers, accreditation, career development, compensation and benefits, and comprehensive services.
