This Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 "Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Nutrition Education (SNAP-Ed) Plan Guidance" provides instructions for developing and submitting State nutrition education and obesity prevention grant program plans, commonly referred to as State SNAP-Ed Plans. It describes Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) expectations for State SNAP-Ed requirements and includes examples of activities that can be used in SNAP-Ed programming. SNAP-Ed is overseen by the Nutrition Education Branch within FNS and supported through Regional Offices. Instructions are provided for preparing and submitting the Annual Plan and Annual Report. Some sections have been broadened to provide additional instructions, and in some sections, new information has been added for greater clarity.
