This guide provides information about the various college student loan programs that exist and are available for use within North Carolina. Listed are specific programs that are available from the Federal, State, and private sectors. When possible, the following information is provided with each program: (1) eligibility requirements; (2) the program's dollar value to the applicant; and (3) application procedures. The Appendix contains four sections, each providing the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the various postsecondary educational institutions within the state: public postsecondary institutions; community colleges; non-profit postsecondary institutions, junior colleges, and proprietary schools licensed by the state; and bible colleges and seminaries.
