This guide is intended to help educators develop, manage, and implement practices that have proven successful with children at risk. It contains the statutes and standards which direct Children At Risk programming in Wisconsin, program models, elements of successful programs, technical information about requirements and mandates, and steps to help educators design and implement effective programs. The guide also identifies links among human service providers which have been found to effectively serve the needs of children at risk.
