The purpose of this handbook is to serve as a guide to all participants in Ohio Northern University's Field Experience program--faculty, cooperating teachers, and students. It provides a discussion of the nature of clinical experiences; the assumptions that underlie the program; and procedures for application, placement, and evaluation of course-related and non-course-related field experiences.
