Guide to Graduate Study in Political Science, 1978. Revised 7th Edition.
Walen, Jean, Comp.
Descriptions of approximately 300 graduate programs in political science at doctoral and masters levels are presented. Information was collected during September and October, 1977. The bulk of the guide contains descriptions of individual programs arranged alphabetically by the name of each school. Universities are listed by city or state names where appropriate. Information for each program includes address, phone number, degree(s) offered, tuition, application deadline, admission requirements, financial aid, degree requirements, program description, and a list of faculty. Although the program descriptions and lists of faculty enable students to determine whether a particular field of specialization is offered, the guide is not intended to be a substitute for university catalogs or departmental bulletins. It concludes with a faculty index and charts showing statistics on graduate students and faculty in Ph.D. programs and Masters programs at each school. (AV)
