College-Sponsored Experiential Learning--A CAEL Student Guide.
Nesbitt, Hadley
This guide is designed for college students who are involved in college-sponsored, off campus work experience programs, to help them meaningfully integrate these experiences into their ongoing educational programs. It would also be useful to anyone entering their first working situation. Basic steps which are outlined include selecting and preparing for the learning experience, involvement in the work situation, and integrating the learning derived from the experience into an ongoing academic program. The appended charts, check lists, and worksheets further explain these steps, and are useful for self evaluation. (Author/MV)
