Presented is a sequential, non-graded curriculum for secondary students who have a specific neurological dysfunction which has been designated as "brain-injured syndrome." Following a discussion of the curriculum's philosophy are program outlines for the following areas (sample subsections are in parentheses): career skills development (maturational development, requirements for work, and salary); mathematics (fundamentals of mathematics, coins and currency, and metrics); language arts (vocabulary and spelling, written expression, and reading skills); social studies (the community, world geography, and consumer education); hygiene (the human body, alcohol education, and drug education); vocational skills (office machines, clerical practice, and typing); and shared instruction (woodshop).
