This guide was written to provide educational practitioners with a convenient, comprehensive, accurate source of information about evaluation training materials. Criteria for inclusion in this guide were (1) that the product was developed by a federally funded laboratory or research and development center; (2) that the product, or some part of it, covers the evaluation process or an evaluation skill; and (3) that the product provides evaluation training of some type. Summaries describing 38 products designed by seven research and development laboratories were presented. Each summary includes the product title, intended users, type of evaluation addressed, approach to evaluation, main emphasis, goals, and objectives, main activities, provisions for use, adaptability, related products, cost, availability, history and evaluation, and related comments. An index classifies materials by three major characteristics: intended use, focus of materials, and type of evaluation. (MV)
