This guide is intended to answer questions from parents, students, community members, and school staff members concerning the Title IX requirement that schools provide equal educational and employment opportunity for both sexes. Compiled for the Los Angeles Unified School District, the answers and comments contained in this paper are potentially valuable to other school districts as well.
