This publication documents one community college's experience in setting up a "supermarket" guidance system model. Its goals were to maximize the number and kinds of available services, and make them maximally accessible to all students. A commercial design firm was hired to analyze the school's present and future requirements. A computer follow-up evaluation was designed, so that statistics could easily be compiled on the number of students using a particular service and where referrals were being sent. A two-day workshop was held to help implement the system. In addition to school administrators and staff members, participants included representatives from business, industry, the community, the feeder high schools, and the student body. Analyses of the objectives and functions of different student service offices are also included in the booklet. (BP)
