This illustrated guide provides basic knowledge that will enable parents to teach their children how to play badminton. Strokes are described functionally--how the player performs the stroke is a matter for individual interpretation. Each lesson is connected to the next in such a way as to encourage learning of strokes and skill development. Coaching is kept to a minimum; each lesson involves a minimum of instruction and a great deal of play.
