Haden, Ernest F.
This syllabus was designed to serve as the instructor's manual for courses in applied French linguistics offered to elementary and secondary teachers in Texas. The material presented is divided into six parts: (1) phonetics and the teaching of pronunciation, (2) phonemics and orthography, (3) versification and morphology, (4) verbs, (5) tagmemics and generative transformational grammar, and (6) syntax, the lexicon, and a general review.
