This self-help book is aimed at middle school students who are learning to cope with different teachers' styles and rules, as well as learning how to follow a schedule. It provides tips, techniques, and strategies on how to read faster; take better notes in class; become a better writer; improve study skills; and ways to ask for help when needed. Section 1 begins with advice on how to organize home study habits. Section 2 discusses listening skills, tips on taking notes, and ways to give a class presentation. Section 3 provides suggestions on becoming a better reader. Section 4 covers how to write, revise, and edit. Suggestions for studying smarter are given in Section 5.
