This guide was prepared to support a program of training for community specialists in contemporary and practical techniques of home energy conservation. It is designed to assist professionals in efficient operation of energy conservation programs and to provide ideas for expanding education operations. Eight major sections are presented: (1) Energy in Perspective; (2) Heat Transfer; (3) Weatherization; (4) Heating Systems; (5) Energy and Home Appliances; (6) Energy Efficient Design; (7) Energy in the Apartment; and (8) Energy in the Mobile Home.
