This dissertation, which is divided into five chapters, is concerned with presenting a curriculum model for the teaching of business management on the doctoral level. Its purpose is to design a study program leading to a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree based on the expressed needs of the members of the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Following an introduction to the research (Chapter I), Chapter II presents a review of studies on: curriculum models for the AACSB, designing a doctoral degree program, evaluating doctoral programs at educational institutions, curriculum development, and nontraditional education. The general procedures used in collecting the research data are reported in Chapter III, which describes the study questions, identifies the sample selected, discusses the research procedures for administering the questionnaire, and gives the number of responses and nonresponses. Chapter IV provides the findings of the study and includes a description of the study data and the practical application of the findings. Presentation of the data appears in both narrative and tabular forms. (Author)
