Specific topics include: a federal legislative amendment to establish a general mandatory retirement at age 70 and the exemption provisions for tenured employees at postsecondary institutions; cessation of employer contributions to pension plans for post-retirement age employees; cases involving contract principles and the mandatory retirement of tenured faculty; public policy; and economic factors affecting individuals and postsecondary institutions.
