The people of the United States are greatly interested in the German systems of industrial and trade education. There is a large demand for information in regard to the general policies of German cities and States in regard to such education, and also for information in regard to schools for special trades. To meet this demand, this bulletin provides the following consular reports: (1) The System of Industrial Schooling (Ralph C. Busser); (2) Schools for Builders (Ralph C. Busser); (3) Preparatory Courses for Master Craftsmen (George Nicholas Ifft); (4) "Meisterkurse" at Frankfort on the Main (William Dawson, Jr.); (5) The Trade Institute at Cologne (W. G. Dunlop); and (6) Schools for Fruit-Growing (H. W. Harris). (Contains 4 footnotes.) [Best copy available has been provided.]
