The ten papers included in this monograph relate to some of the important concerns dealing with leadership and management in vocational education. Each paper, while addressed to the occupational education scene of the early 1980s, has the remaining years of this century in mind--a strong futuristic undercurrent. Topics covered by the various authors include the following: the Vocational Education Leadership Institute; leadership in education; relating vocational education to the entire educational system; federal legislation and vocational education; articulation between secondary and postsecondary vocational education institutions; the role of the vocational education curriculum worker; the problems of vocational education leadership; and planning a public relations program.
