The first portion of this document consists of maps and graphs that display important information on population, income, resources, and education in North Carolina. They have been constructed to illustrate the present situation from county to county and from school administrative unit to school administrative unit across the state. The second half of the document analyzes the information given in the first half and offers suggestions for school finance and school district reorganization. (Author/IRT)
